Manufacture of the entire church seating (chair model Exsel) from domestic maple.

Commissioned by the architects Flubacher Nyfeler Partner and trading partner ALINEA AG, the entire seating for the parish church of St. Nikolaus near Basel was manufactured and delivered. The chairs are connected via a wooden row connector. Chair Exsel is part of the schmidinger möbelbau collection.

The parish church of St. Nikolaus has a long history of construction dating back to the 14th century. After various expansions and renovations over the centuries, the church was severely damaged by a fire in 2021. The roof structure, wooden ceiling, organ, and other parts of the church were heavily affected.
