“Feather Wall” is a room divider made of thin plywood elements and steel parts. It is suitable for screening in large rooms.

The design by Klemens Grund, realized by schmidinger möbelbau, was created for an exhibition of Generation Cologne: the four design creators Karoline Fesser, Klemens Grund, Tim Kerp and Thomas Schnur traveled to the Bregenzerwald in the summer of 2019, where they visited five craftsmen and their workshops. With silver fir as the unifying design element, new products were created in close collaboration with the craftsmen, in which impressions of landscape, tradition, building culture and craftsmanship are reflected.

The furniture pieces were presented to the public for the first time at the PASSAGEN Interior Design Week Cologne in January 2020. In the fall, the designers exhibited their furniture pieces in a tidy, new atmosphere in the Werkraum Bregenzerwald.

In addition to the Feather Wall, schmidinger möbelbau also implemented the objects SITI table and SITI chair.
